Vugar Gurbanov was appointed the Executive Director of TABIB

On September 8, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the public legal entity known as the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) was held. At the meeting, the appointment of TABIB’s executive director was considered in accordance with paragraph 3.3 of Decree No. 418 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 20, 2018, and titled "On certain measures related to the introduction of mandatory health insurance in the Republic of Azerbaijan."

By the decision of the Supervisory Board, Gurbanov Vugar Javanshir – who has been acting as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TABIB since September 13, 2021 – was appointed the executive director of TABIB.

Vugar Gurbanov is a graduate of Azerbaijan Medical University. He worked as a neuropathologist for many years and worked as the head of the Medical Claims department of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance.
