Zaur Aliyev meets with residents in Lankaran

Zaur Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insuarance, met with residents from Lankaran, Astara, and Lerik regions at the Regional Central Hospital of Lankaran on October 27.

Prior to the meeting, Zaur Aliyev paid a visit to the monument of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in Lankaran city. Bunches of flowers were placed in front of the monument as a tribute to the Great Leader.

During the meeting, attended by Vugar Gurbanov, the executive officer of the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), as well as the heads of the Regional Central Hospitals of Lankaran, Astara, and Lerik regions, 27 citizens presented their requests. The issues raised primarily concerned examinations and treatments, medical services covered by mandatory health insurance, the supply of medicines, disability matters, and work-related concerns. The requests were thoroughly reviewed, and several issues were promptly resolved. To address other requests in compliance with legislation, pertinent instructions were issued.

It is important to highlight that the meeting adhered to the “Schedule of reception of citizens in cities and regions by the heads of the central executive authorities and other administrative institutions in October 2023,” as per the directive of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Localized citizen receptions contribute to the efficient examination of applications in various regions, leading to optimal decisions for problem resolution and an increase in citizen satisfaction.
