The State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) has officially launched the updated version of its website, its.gov.az. Chairman Zaur Aliyev highlighted the enhanced functionality and extensive database of the new website, emphasizing its importance for both citizens and medical professionals. He stated: "For any newly established organization, having a modern platform to present itself is crucial. For us, this updated website is an innovative system impacting a wide audience, from citizens to healthcare workers. It offers comprehensive and accessible information on mandatory health insurance for medical centers across all regions of the country. With clearly defined priorities, we've designed a platform that is more accessible and informative for the population. The new site provides easy access to information about health insurance, state medical facilities, addresses, and contact details."
During the event, Aynura Ahmadova, Head of the Marketing and Public Relations Department, discussed the Communication Strategy of the Agency: "Our communication strategy aligns with the Agency's goals and objectives, ensuring effective engagement with various target groups. We assess the needs and preferences of each group to select the most appropriate communication tools. Over the past eight years, about 100,000 individuals have participated in our awareness trainings on mandatory health insurance."
Fuad Bayramov, another representative of the Marketing and Public Relations Department, provided insights into the website's new features: "The updates address the needs of citizens seeking information about the Agency's activities and mandatory health insurance. New sections have been added to improve usability. The health facility search system allows citizens to find facilities offering the medical services they need, filter by Regional Medical Divisions (RMDs) or cities, and access contact information, addresses, and location maps. Additionally, the Benefit Package search system provides details on medical services and the payments made by the Agency to hospitals for these services."
The event concluded with a letter of gratitude presented to Digital Medical Solutions Limited Liability Company for their support in updating the website.
