On March 17, Zaur Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, met with residents of Absheron and Zangilan districts at the Absheron District Central Hospital.
Prior to the meeting, Zaur Aliyev visited the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev. Bouquets were laid at the monument, paying tribute to the memory of the Great Leader.
Citizens’ appeals were addressed during a reception attended by Vugar Gurbanov, Executive Director of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), along with the directors of the Absheron and Zangilan District Central Hospitals. Citizens’ appeals primarily concerned examinations and treatments under mandatory health insurance, issuance of medical referrals, provision of medications, disability matters. Several issues raised in the citizens’ appeals were addressed immediately, while instructions were issued to investigate and review the remaining cases in accordance with the law.
Worth noting that the reception was held in accordance with the "Schedule of Citizens’ Receptions in Cities and Regions in March 2025 by Heads of Central Executive Authorities and Other Administrative Bodies", following the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. Mobile citizen receptions help review applications more efficiently in the regions, make optimal decisions for their resolution, and enhance citizen satisfaction.
