On February 25, Zaur Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, met with residents of Shirvan city and Hajigabul district at the Shirvan city Central Hospital.
Prior to the meeting, Zaur Aliyev visited the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev. Bouquets were laid at the monument, paying tribute to the memory of the Great Leader.
Citizens’ appeals were reviewed during a reception attended by Anar Israfilov, Acting Executive Director of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions, the Head of the Agency’s Shirvan Branch, and the directors of the Shirvan City and Hajigabul District Central Hospitals. Citizens’ appeals primarily concerned examinations and treatments under mandatory health insurance, issuance of referrals, disability matters, provision of medications, and work-related issues. Several issues raised in the citizens’ appeals were addressed immediately, while instructions were issued to investigate and review the remaining cases in accordance with the legislation. The citizens’ proposals were also reviewed during the reception, and it was noted that the Agency takes into account the suggestions received regarding the improvement of the mandatory health insurance system and other related issues. Among the applicants were members of the families of martyrs and war veterans.
Worth noting that the reception was held in accordance with the "Schedule of Citizens’ Receptions in Cities and Regions in february 2026 by Heads of Central Executive Authorities and Other Administrative Bodies", following the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. Mobile citizen receptions help review appeals more efficiently in the regions, make optimal decisions for their resolution, and enhance citizen satisfaction.
