A new branch of the Agency has been opened

In order to ensure effective coordination between the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) and medical facilities operating in the regions, the Agjabadi branch of the Agency has been opened. Thus, the number of operating branches of the Agency has reached 8.

Ganja, Mingachevir, Sheki, Agjabadi, Guba, Shamakhi, Shirvan and Lankaran branches operate on the administrative-territorial units determined by the Board of the Agency. The Ganja branch of the Agency covers Ganja and Naftalan cities, Samukh, Goranboy, Goygol, Dashkasan, Khojaly and Kalbajar districts, Mingachevir branch covers Mingachevir city, Yevlakh, Agdash, Barda and Tartar districts, Sheki branch covers Sheki, Balakan, Zagatala, Gakh, Oguz and Gabala districts. Agjabadi branch covers Aghdam, Agjabadi, Beylagan, Fuzuli, Lachin and Khojavend districts, Guba branch covers Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran and Siyazan districts, Shamakhi branch covers Shamakhi, Agsu, Ismayilli and Gobustan districts, Shirvan branch covers Shirvan, Hajigabul, Sabirabad, Saatly and Imishli districts and Lankaran branch covers Lankaran, Masalli, Yardimli, Lerik and Astara districts.

Creating equal conditions for the population in the use of medical services under the mandatory health insurance system, making the system accessible to the population and other duties have been set for the branches.

The branches are responsible for taking measures to improve the quality of medical services provided to the population within the Benefit Package, checking the scope and quality of medical services, monitoring the organization of primary health care and the process of inclusion of citizens in primary health care. It is also the responsibility of the branches to take measures to promote mandatory health insurance and educate the population in this direction, to accept citizens and to ensure the protection of the rights of insured persons in the mandatory health insurance system.

Emin Huseynov, head of the Agency's Department for Regional Centers said that the branches will support the Agency's activities in the field of mandatory health insurance. "The branches will take appropriate measures to address technical problems that may arise in the assessment of registers for medical services provided by medical facilities, the study of data, as well as the management of software used in medical facilities."
