The "Search for Medical Institutions" section on the official website of the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance (Agency) has been updated. Medical services offered by private medical institutions contracted with the Agency, based on referrals to the mandatory health insurance, have been incorporated into the system. With this update, citizens can easily identify through the website which private medical institutions provide the required services under referral through compulsory health insurance.
The "Search for Medical Institutions" section enables citizens to make informed choices freely.
To use the system, the following steps must be followed:
This approach enables citizens to save time and plan their medical service requests more efficiently.
Currently, the Agency cooperates with more than 190 private medical institutions. This includes private hospitals located in the capital, Baku, as well as in other regions of the country.
For reference, 3,315 medical services are offered to citizens under the Benefits Package of mandatory health insurance. Citizens can access these medical services at state medical institutions under TABIB, as well as at research institutes and centers under the Ministry of Health. If the required services cannot be provided at public medical institutions, referrals are made to private medical institutions contracted with the Agency. The right to choose a private medical facility based on a referral rests solely with the patient. When visiting a private medical facility with a referral letter, medical services are provided free of charge under the Benefits Package.
The "Search for Medical Institutions" section also lists services available at state medical institutions under TABIB, as well as at research institutes and centers of the Ministry of Health.
